An unobtrusive microphone for the Chorus to record birds, frogs and other vocalising mammals.

This omnidirectional acoustic microphone is designed for the Chorus and the Ranger. It’s weather resistant, versatile and affordable. Easily attach to the detector using the microphone jack, and can be used in a pair for stereo acoustic recording.

  • Built-in low noise preamplifier
  • Frequency response of 20Hz – 20kHz
  • High performance electret microphone capsule with excellent sensitivity and low noise floor (-24dB sensitivity with 80dB signal-to-noise ratio)
  • Includes a military-grade water-resistant wind sock
